THE ARTICULATE

In Full Bloom

How do you throw a baby shower for a talented florist?

Well, let’s start with a blue sky on a Saturday afternoon where a group of  ladies gathered up in a private residence in Perth. Throw in a scrumptious spread involving traditional Indonesian cuisine (which the mother-to-be cooked all by herself), and a dessert buffet that’s too sweet for words! Giant pom-pom flowers adorned the ceiling, adding a WOW factor to the event, without breaking a budget.

Plastic/plain cups are not welcome in this event. Guests drinks from vintage mason jars adorned with twines and stripey straws. Pink lemonade in a huge clear jug adds a splash of bright magenta hue to the color palette.

The gorgeous mom-to-be who was pretty in pink, arranged all the flowers for the spread in vintage jars and vases. The ladies then enjoyed a crafty activity, by decorating a plain white baby singlet with fabric crayons to be presented as a present to the precious little princess growing inside mom’s tummy.

With lots of laughters, chit-chats, support and love – the day couldn’t be more perfect.

“In Full Bloom” was specially designed for Ivana Wibisono, a talented florist who resides in Perth, Western Australia. The theme of the event was build around her floristry ability and her love for the color pink. Articulate Events is so delighted and honored to have styled this event for the beautiful Ivana!
